At Crumb Co, every loaf is a labor of love, requiring +8 hours of natural fermentation and careful hand-shaping. We want you to enjoy your bread as much as we enjoyed baking it. If your order doesn’t meet our high standards for quality or craftsmanship, we are committed to making it right.
Perishable Goods Policy
Because our sourdough is a fresh, preservative-free food product, we cannot accept physical returns once a loaf has left our bakery or been delivered.
Replacements & Store Credit: If there is a significant issue with your order (e.g., incorrect item received, damaged packaging, or a quality defect), please notify us within 24 hours of pickup or delivery. To help us improve, we may ask for a photo of the product. Upon review, we will reserve the right to provide:
- A fresh replacement loaf (subject to our baking schedule).
- Store credit for your next purchase.
Order Cancellations
Our dough takes time! Because we begin preparing our leaven and fermenting your dough days in advance, we have the following cancellation windows:
- Full Refund: Cancellations made 48 hours or more before your scheduled pickup/delivery time.
- Store Credit Only: Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before your order time.
- Non-Refundable: Orders cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, as your specific loaves have already been baked.
Unclaimed Orders
For local pickups: If you are unable to pick up your order on your scheduled day, please contact us. Because sourdough is best enjoyed fresh, we cannot guarantee quality for unclaimed orders held past the original pickup date. Unclaimed orders are non-refundable.
